WOMEN LEADERSHIP
Women in Decision-Making Roles: Leadership, Security, and the Public Good
Ukrainian women uphold the stability and resilience of society every day amid political, economic, and military instability — from supporting families and volunteer initiatives to ensuring the functioning of state institutions and the economy. Women have become those who fight, maintain the home front, manage businesses, make decisions, and sustain societal resilience. We do not merely respond to challenges; we shape reality daily by being present at decision-making points at all levels.

Women’s leadership is a key focus of our vision and a distinct strategic track of the NGO “Kyiv School of Public Administration named after Serhiy Nyzhnyy.”
We create an environment where women from diverse fields — from defense and public administration to the civil society sector — gain the tools and opportunities to strengthen their role in decision-making. This is part of our strategy to foster a new culture of leadership that ensures stability, security, and meaningful societal change.
A global network of women, including:

women in political and public decision-making positions
women veterans
wives of veterans
internally displaced women
women who have migrated to new countries
aimed at creating an effective platform to influence policy-making, social standards, and foster a new culture of responsible leadership.

Participants will gain unique knowledge, tools, and opportunities for personal growth, self-support, and the reinforcement of family resilience through educational modules covering medical, legal, psychological, and economic support. We have invited top experts to make this course a powerful resource for development and assistance. Special attention is given to the role of partners/wives in the reintegration of service members into civilian life, supporting their economic independence, and encouraging active participation in society, as wives are often the first to provide care and support when a service member returns home.

SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM NAMED AFTER LEONID HRYSHCHENKO
THE (NOT)LOST GENERATION

The scholarship was established to support young people who have already faced the challenges of war and possess combat experience. Our mission is to help these young heroes acquire new knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as enhance their professional development.
Women also become our scholars, playing key roles in the military sector. They hold responsible positions, make strategic decisions, participate in shaping management processes, and contribute to the development of military units. Women leaders demonstrate that their involvement in the defense sector is crucial for strengthening the army’s capabilities and implementing innovative solutions.
