NGO "Kyiv School of Public Administration named after Serhiy Nyzhnyy" with the assistance of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Ukraine and financial support from the Kingdom of the Netherlands, announces the launch of the project "Advocacy for Veterans' Rights: Policy Development. Training course for local government representatives".
We announce this news with great joy, because within three months our project will be implemented for 32 representatives of local governments from 6 territorial communities of Sumy region (Lebedyn, Krolevets, Chernechchyna, Konotop, Dubovyaziv and Sumy territorial communities).
The program is designed for:
▫️ specialized deputy heads of communities, heads of structural units that implement veteran policy in communities;
▫️ representatives of civil society organizations dealing with the reintegration of veterans, opinion leaders of veteran communities.
The goal of our initiative is to provide comprehensive knowledge and skills to local government representatives to effectively work on the development and implementation of local policies aimed at supporting and reintegrating veterans and protecting their rights.
The project should result in the development of local programs for the reintegration of veterans and action plans for them and their subsequent approval by local councils.
The initiative "Advocacy for Veterans' Rights: Policy Development. Training Course for Local Government Representatives" is being implemented by the NGO "Kyiv School of Public Administration named after Serhiy Nyzhnyy" with the assistance of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Ukraine and financial support from the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
